I’m pretty sure they won’t drop two teams and let the other 6 play. They’ll do everything they can to have all 8 teams.Ian HarkinModeratorJuly 9, 2020 at 4:12 pmPost count: 8398
Resigned to having to move interstate, the Vixens and the Magpies have submitted a list of requests to lessen the burden of their relocationIan HarkinModeratorJuly 9, 2020 at 6:11 pmPost count: 8398Ian HarkinModeratorJuly 10, 2020 at 5:32 pmPost count: 8398
We'd like to thank all the fans for the support over the last few months.

‘Whatever it takes’: Melbourne clubs face up to nine weeks in hubIan HarkinModeratorJuly 13, 2020 at 4:26 pmPost count: 8398
Balls still up in the air as Super Netball prepares to get season going.
Draw for the start of the competition out tomorrow…mcleodParticipantJuly 13, 2020 at 5:13 pmPost count: 784
Play 2 games a week, when possible. Get the comp over and done with in 12 weeks.
But channel 9 have all the say by the sounds of it.Ian HarkinModeratorJuly 13, 2020 at 7:06 pmPost count: 8398
When all this was being considered a couple of months ago, they even raised the possibility of playing it like a world cup style, have it over and done in a few weeks. Pretty sure that’s not going to happen, but it just shows you that anything’s possible. NZ teams have been playing games in successive days.Ian HarkinModeratorJuly 13, 2020 at 7:07 pmPost count: 8398
@WestCoastFever captain Courtney Bruce comes up against some of the biggest names in netball every weekend. But some of her biggest battles have been fought away from the court.

So with South Australia not opening their boarder to NSW after all,
surely this puts more doubt in the SSN proceeding.al_exParticipantJuly 14, 2020 at 3:39 pmPost count: 784
They’ll surely just make the Thunderbirds play Fever and the QLD teams first, which buys them 6 extra weeks. If the borders aren’t open in 9 weeks time, netball will be the least of NSW’s problems.NettySuperFanParticipantJuly 14, 2020 at 4:29 pmPost count: 258
Yeah, its probably because of that, that they haven’t released a fixture today, like they said they would. 18 days out, I’m highly doubting it will start on August 1st….Ian HarkinModeratorJuly 14, 2020 at 9:11 pmPost count: 8398mcleodParticipantJuly 15, 2020 at 8:23 amPost count: 784
Just cancel the season, or shorten them comp.
All teams in Qld, each team plays each other once. Then a final.
Play 2 rds a week, get it over and done with in a month.
Netball Aus and the clubs don’t have the $$ to relocate all teams for what 18 weeks.al_exParticipantJuly 15, 2020 at 1:22 pmPost count: 784
It seems like you actually want the league to be cancelled. I understand that you don’t like SSN’s rule changes and you clearly haven’t let go of the fact that it’s advertised as the best league in the world, but the livelihoods of many would be seriously affected if no season goes ahead. That doesn’t even consider the mental health implications of what has become an enormous preseason.
