Loving @CoachLisaA insights into the game @SkyNetball #NationsCup #NZvJAM
— Anna Carter (@ACoachcarter) January 26, 2020
3/4 time: NZ 49 v Jam 41
NZ seemingly gained control in that control after a few careless errors from the Sunshine Girls. Maia Wilson having a great game again.
Still watching that penalty count. It was 25-5 against Jamaica! In Q 1 & 3 combined, it’s 51-9!!!
Happy 50th cap @nataliesymone🌹 one of the most hard working and passionate people I know. So proud of your journey so far – here's to 50 more captain Nat ❤❤ pic.twitter.com/pFX8h5yVGR

Maia Wilson MVP. Jane Watson Player of the Tournament.
Wow, what a game between Jam and SF. Really come down to conditioning, composure and basic errors in the 2nd half.
Sterling’s ‘frustration’ is a very unlikeable part of her game.
Aw this prize giving is really awesome. Good atmosphere! Well done Birmingham!
Full time: NZ 67 v Jam 56
In the end, a comfortable NZ win. It all came from the 3rd Q when a sloppy Jamaican team had 8 turnovers to 2. That was it. You’re not going to win giving up that sort of advantage to NZ.
Wilson 44/47 (94%)
Ekenasio 22/28 (79%)

Should have bought Williams on as GD with Quashie. The other pairings didn’t work, and Shimmin just isn’t a GD.
Cardwell was brilliant throughout the competition. She was so accurate from range. She’s not a natural GA and frankly the coaches now need to start bringing in a GA, in the same way they gave Carter a decent introduction.
Yeah for me, Cardwell was the player of the tournament. That turn and shoot is going to cause some headaches in the future.
Dixon, Beckford for Jamaica stood out. Carter, Cardwell, Fisher for England. Rademan for SA. Wilson and Poi for NZ. Some possible contracts in NZ and Aussie maybe in 2021.
I feel that all teams have gained some much needed exposure and experience. I think Thirlby has done well for England. Also Connie Francis for Jamaica. I’m a little concerned about SA, they really should have done better with the team they have. Perhaps the coach is still finding her feet and Norma’s kids are adjusting to the new coach maybe.
So it’s back to the wilderness until the netball leagues all start up. Can’t wait for that.
MSB’s had her knee op
Bailey we’ll have to w as it and see
Jane looked like her a nkle was causing her grief
Great games by the Ferns and Noels đź–¤This last day was in London, not Birmingham.
Loved the courtside commentary team, inc the outfits they wore….except for LA’s both days she was there, far too boxy for her body shape.
Have enjoyed this immensely, so grateful we could watch on the other side of the world. Will we be able to watch the English competition when it begins in late Feb? Would be amazing to see Cardwell, Fisher et al more.
Go Jane W……well deserved.
Congrats NZ on winning the Vitality Netball Nations Cup…
🗣️ "It was important for us to shake-off what has happened before & to come back fighting."
🇯🇲 Despite suffering disappointment in the final of the Vitality Nations Cup, the signs are there that Jamaica are back in the game – here's why 👇

Have a listen to @SilverFernsNZ goal shooter Maia Wilson who was player of the match in the #NationsCup final win against Jamaica…her first full game for NZ. She "knew my time would come". @NetballScoop #earnthefern @NewshubSport https://t.co/gcoXR1SU4v

Nations Cup over. what a week it’s been. Loved being back amongst the action watching the teams progress & stars emerge. Congrats to NZ & welcome back Jamaica. As for England, I think we found our C, our 4th shooter arrived and our captain was well just fantastic. @SkyNetball pic.twitter.com/uzEQD2CSwx
