Nice to hear Lisa Alexandra in commentary.
Jamaica out of the blocks early. SA played right into their hands. Jamaica taking calculated risks on attack. Seem to be reading each other well.
Not sure if the two talls are working for SA. Let’s see if they can pull this lead back.

Half time 28-33 Jamaica
Jamaica look good. SA not too bad, they brought the lead down to 4. Maweni had me panicked when she went down badly. But she took some time on the bench and came back on well.
I’m impressed with Jamaica C. Stirling and Dehaney just going about their work. Stirling doesn’t look too out of place in GD. She’s doing everything right. I’m just used to her hunting from the back. Connie Francis has made a difference with the Sunshine Girls.
Good game so far,
1/2 time: Jam 33 v SA 28
Great start for Jamaica as they got out to a good lead. Since then it’s been goal for goal. Fowler is on top and the other attacking players have been good in support. SA’s attack a bit off early but looking better now.
@SkyNetball some really promising discipline in attack by @NetballJamaica, using their weapons well and decent organisation and structure! The two talls in defence is exciting too! Stay on task and they’ll be hard to beat! #NationsCup

Oh wow congrats Nat Medhurst on pregnancy.
2nd time Dixon got an intercept, speeds through court and delivers a perfect feed.
3/4 time 37-49 Jamaica
Jono growls the bench for being in an unrestricted area behind the goal. Never seen that before. ?
3/4 time: Jam 49-37
Jamaica well on top. This is the sort of form we haven’t seen from the Sunshine Girls for a while. Their play has been so controlled and composed. Just a great team effort but Fowler is unstoppable & Dixon’s having a terrific game.
Jamaica are looking much more composed but I’m also wondering if their fitness and conditioning have really improved ??
This is the first game, when they met last time it was deep into the WC. I’ll save my judgement for the final dayloving Jono … 😉
it’s like he hasn’t been awayOh dear Sterling off !!!
ankle
Shannika Johnson debuts for @NetballJamaica with 2 mins on clock. Injury worry for @shameranetball . Shimona Nelson also on court to finish the game.

Oh no Shamera down! Looks to have done her ankle. Hopefully not too serious.
Congrats to Shimona Nelson making her debut for Jamaica.
Jamaica win 59-54
Great result for @NetballJamaica! Some very handy depth in this squad in all areas! Wilson and Ward were great inclusions in the second half. Very impressive to lead from start to finish. Sunshine Girls reproduce that type of quality and they can win this #NationsCup @SkyNetball
