Game 2: Dragons v Storm
Wilson, the JAM player, has made an impressive start at GK against Karen Bailey.

This is a bit of a surprise to me.
Full time: Storm 44 v Dragons 43
Apparently it was a controversial end to the game.
Yeah it was an odd ending to the game.
Dragons centre pass
7 secs left – Storm WD gets pulled for contact in the goal third at the top of the D
Dragons take the penalty and the umpire calls it back because the WD was not out of play.
Dragons take the penalty again
2 secs left – GS catches the ball within shooting range and the umpire blows his whistle. All the players stop. Umpire wonders over and says “if it’s a draw there will be extra time.” all the players are staring at him waiting for a call. He says there is no penalty and it’s the end of the game, takes the ball and walks away 😐Game 3
Qtr 1 Mavs 11 Stars 17Stars looking very slick. Vinkhumbo is flying out of the circle at every opportunity. Nia Jones winning the match-up with Sasha C and Kadeen gets a caution.
Mavs have raised their game and level it at 18 all halfway through the quarter
Halftime Mavs 34 Stars 25
Quashie led the charge that quarter with her constant hassling. The remainder of the team followed her lead and Mavs began to pick up a lot of ball all over the court.
Mavs pulled level and just kept going at one point the lead was 11.
Ama and Vinkhumbo building a nice combo.
QTR 3
Mavs 53 Stars 37
The wheels fell off the bus that qtr for Stars. Ama was benched midway through but the change had no impact and Mavs continue to score with ease.
Game 4
QTR 1 – Bath 19 Lightning 14
Commane and Cholhok both make a solid start. Kim leading from the front and commanding the circle. Mary is channeling her inner Tippett with 3 lay-ups.
Nat P picked up an ankle injury and was forced to leave the court (damn she was my fantasy netball captain!)

HALFTIME: Bath 33 Lightning 27
Both teams have settled into a rhythm, Lightning narrow the gap and then Bath pull away. No standouts in the game both Cholhok is impressing with her lay-ups and long bombs (sorry that could be bomb, I think it was only one).
