Perhaps Ash Braz’s inclusion is a good indicator that they are looking at Price in C.

For CC, Braz, Price, Proud and Hadley is a pretty balanced mid court. Watson could slot back in place of any of them.

I have enjoyed Anstiss’s steadiness in C but I’d need to see her deliver that consistency with a moving circle before thinking she is the real deal.

All of Australia’s best C’s have been steady linking players rather than dominant or explosive. Tombs, NVB, Rav.

Charles is a good back up but shouldn’t be picked ahead of any of the above players IMO. (Although Proud hasn’t been at her absolute best this year).

I’m still very shocked that Rav didn’t make the squad, I would have had her in my 12. I actually assumed she had withdrawn herself. Her form at the Firebirds this year was far stronger than Bueta’s in my opinion.
