If I were Malesala I would be on the move next season. She needs to be playing week in, week out. Strong, powerful player. Needs the regular court time to take her game to the next level.
Wonder if her cameos will get her a Ferns camp invite? She’s playing alongside the incumbent GS and WA and has great volume and decent accuracy in her stints.
Also, read an article (think it was Brendon Egan) suggesting Maia to GA in front of Nweke as a first choice shooting pairing. Interesting.
Looks like Georgia Heffernan has been bought in for the Steel in tonight’s game against the Magic.
Safe to say at no point so far has Bassett proved Fitzgerald wrong. Hard to see tonight being any different.
Admittedly the supply she gets is a little average. However her hands are soft and she pulls out of holds too early so feeders have no idea where to put the ball.
Think CBass might be done and dusted after this season.
Omg Magic. Throw the whole team away at this point.
Steel are giving the Magic a netball master class tonight!!
Even their defenders have been awful lately. I was such a Temalisi fan before this season but she’s been pretty average and has a really bad attitude.
Would love to see Tong and Fowler in the defensive circle for the 2nd half. The steel shooters running rings around the defenders atm
Unsure why they’ve persisted with Mikaere at GD for so long either. She’s really not having an impact, may as will give Tong a run and see what she can do.
Tem is being held together with rolls of tape.
