TB – The Pulse and the Stars were toe to toe regarding goals until the Pulse took control of the game.
The Stars looked slightly flat (including Harrison) from the get go. The Pulse finally clicked and were clean and fast.
In all fairness, besides the Mystics blow out the Pulse have only lost by bonus point margins.

Tactix had the advantage 13-11 at 1/4 time, and they’ve gone further in front now, 21-16.
Tiana Metuarau with 7 turnovers before half time. Ouch!
Tactix 29-21
1/2 time: Tactix 31-23
Fisher 20/25 (80%)
Metuarau 3/4 (75%)Bird 25/26 (96%)
Selby-Rickit 6/9 (67%)Tactix playing very well. Bird has just grown so much as a player. As mentioned, Metuarau has 7 turnovers already. That is the same number as the whole Tactix team!
ANZP is so astonishingly close this year, it’s almost impossible to predict who will make Top 3! SSN could look at the Salary Tier reforms that ANZP have introduced, I think they’ve been great.
The lead now back to just 4. Steel on the charge lifted by their fans.
3/4 time: Tactix 43-38
Fisher 33/39 (85%)
Metuarau 5/6 (83%)Bird 34/35 (97%)
Selby-Rickit 9/14 (64%)Great finish in prospect. Steel won that 3rd Q by 3 and they’re challenging Tactix hard. Who’s going to come out on top?
Tactix’ defensive effort has been great but their attack end has started to collapse. Nathan and Selby-Rickit need to be more disciplined.
Fisher on a warning with 4 minutes to go.
Now Fisher has been taken off with less than 3 minutes to go.
What is going on? Who on the Steel team isn’t on a caution or warning.
