Lockdown could see the Silver Ferns miss England tests – that could be interesting seeing as they just named the leadership squad. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/sport/450617/lockdown-could-see-silver-ferns-miss-england-tests?fbclid=IwAR0pbAQAWuWrAETrD3NJAtePhP7qzGKIKZvbnEXSTvz8egezygLVfWz51lIBallerParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:05 pmPost count: 408
Anyone know when the training camps are?
Mask wearing at level 2 whilst training and on the court?mcleodParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:10 pmPost count: 1231
Don’t think they will be wearing a mask while playing.BallerParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:16 pmPost count: 408
Logically no, of course! I’m totally happy if they have an exemption. It will be a lengthy list of exemptions; no masks, more than 100 people etcmcleodParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:25 pmPost count: 1231
Well I hope they can have a bigger than 50 crowd. It’s a big stadium, 2m spacing would not be a issue.MaryannParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:26 pmPost count: 675
Baller – no training camps so far. As of yesterday the Auckland based players were still up here.
So limit of 100 for events indoors, compulsory masking of attendees and compulsory scanning.
McLeod you’re down in the SI – have you heard anything about an exemption for the Auckland based players?
The earliest Auckland can drop levels is the 14th but unless the people around here go forward for testing (I’m right in the epicentre and there is a why should I attitude at the moment) I can’t see us moving. Still unknown transmission and people with it in the community going to the pharmacies, supermarkets and on the buses.mcleodParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:47 pmPost count: 1231
Not sure Maryann, but the only Auck based players that are there.
Are Fitzpatrick, Toeava and Nweke.
So I’m assuming Crampton, Wilson, Hume are elsewhere.MaryannParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 4:47 pmPost count: 675BallerParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 5:02 pmPost count: 408
NNZ are going to have to work some serious magic in order for this to take place or alternatively lower NZ goes to L1.
Teams, staff and officials + camera crews, commentators etc easily takes it to around 50 or above.mcleodParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 5:34 pmPost count: 1231
They will play the games, don’t be worried.enozlasParticipantSeptember 6, 2021 at 6:58 pmPost count: 402
Presuming the games go ahead… any tips on how to watch the games in aus?MaryannParticipantSeptember 7, 2021 at 6:54 amPost count: 675
@enozlas – I saw something last week about viewing, can’t remember if it was just from the NZ end or whether it was a general thing for viewers every where. I’ll have a search. I do know that the England Australia games will also be shown in NZ but perhaps not live. So are you in NZ or Australia?enozlasParticipantSeptember 7, 2021 at 7:31 amPost count: 402
I realise now how many variables there are to my question haha sorry!
I am in Aus, so hoping to watching the NZ v Eng games if possible but we don’t have access to SkyTV or NZTV here I don’t believe.MaryannParticipantSeptember 7, 2021 at 8:57 amPost count: 675
Theres this but I think this might only be the NZ end but the lower part mentions Diamonds. https://www.silverferns.co.nz/silver-ferns/news/latest-news/sky-partner-with-tvnz-for-silver-ferns-coverage.html
I’ll look further
