      One of them was Erena Mikaere but she said that’s because she’s still rehabbing. Not heard about any others 😬

        Doesn’t really matter, I guess we’ll find out in good time. Feel for those girls.

          @mcleod

          One has already been named in this thread and I can tell you the rest of them were all over 6’1 also.

              How light are we going to be defensively?

                Nesian would I be right in assuming 4/5 sent home were from the Development Squad? Yes that’s an assumption but one based on public comment or statements made on here previously about fitness.

                    Will all the Diamonds girls be able to return to Australia without quarantine or will it depend on what state they are based in? Surely with NZL’s success in managing COVID all travellers from there should be exempt from quarantine.

                      If all other travellers have to quarantine from NZ, so should the girls.

                        Should be able to, all going well.

                          Oh dear. Just announced on the 6pm News that AUS have closed their border to us for the next 72 hours. Hopefully just temporary (and wouldn’t stop flights coming into the country of course). Not ideal though!

                            Feb 15th is a while away. Fingers crossed. Good luck NZ sorting out this new case and its potential consequences.

                              Thanks JR 🙂 My words to my family yesterday ‘Mama Mia, here we go again!’ Living in Auckland has certainly had more disadvantages than normal since early last year. Aucklanders know what to do, here’s hoping Northland follows suit.
                              I’m anal about scanning, masking up when I can’t distance in shops etc. However complacency was creeping in.

                              I’m pretty sure this netball series won’t be affected.

                                One day life will be normal. Not sure when.

                                  What’s normal?
                                  I’ve forgotten what normal life was like
