Maia Wilson ready for Diamonds’ test

Charles over Proud and Hadley is Interesting. Hopefully she relays Marinkovichโs faith.
The defenders and shooters pick themselves given there is I just 4 of each (Dwan and Hinchliffe are training partners / injury cover).
8 middies in the squad is a lot. Watson picks herself. So the way I look at it is Simpson, Moloney, Price and Anstiss are fighting between themselves for two spots. Anstiss is really only a WD option so it will make it hard to include her and Simpson in the same team. Proud, Hadley and Charles are then fighting for one spot.
Bassett and Austin should start. Will be interesting to see how they go with Watson in WA. Hay had a good season for Giants but it will be a different game with Watson ahead of them. I wouldnโt be surprised to see Koenen get on.
Jenny-Mays reaction was a bit over-the-top. Does it really matter when they name the starting line-up?

Really curious to see how this goes. I think weโll see a bit of rotation through the areas of the court where the opposition is strongest, so defence for the Diamonds and the midcourt for NZL. Wouldnโt be surprised at all to see Souness and Klau for example. Absolutely no idea who will win: I feel like maybe the Diamonds just based on previous CCS but it could absolutely go either way.

I don’t think Winders is a starting player – it’s a shame there isn’t another circle defender to allow Burger to play WD.
There's something special about an all female presenting line-up on @skysportnz especially our hapu mฤmฤ Katrina Rore ๐ International netball is back!!! #constellationcup pic.twitter.com/YXcYUrhhBW

Jo Weston 7 penalties already, and most in the mid court.
Ferns circle D doing well.So I hope all the overseas viewers can get a decent watch! I’m in Auckland and Sky Sport keeps buffering, sometimes going back and replaying and sometimes just missing gaps – and we’re only at the Anthems.
NZ off to a good start. Wilson a bit shaky on the shot. Sulu doing well on CBass. Long way to go!
Sorry that was a delayed post on here – we’re not that far behind!
Wow what a 1st quarter! Love everything about our team at the moment. Some changes might come for Diamonds.
Bruce to GD and Klau to GK is a great move, something I’ve always wanted to see at Diamonds level. Weston was not having a good game.
Bassett needs to step up, as does Moloney. Austin is doing fine considering it’s her debut but only Watson is helping her out.
