Haven’t seen sterling this quiet in a long time… if ever?
I’d be tempted to throw Garrett in GK and see if she can have an impact by hunting outside the circle… just to purely see what happens? Can’t get much less from Sterling at the moment 🙁Wow, Petty/Nankivell very high on turnovers. Also Sterling on 3 turnovers is crazy for her and 1.5 NNP.
30 Turnovers so far 🤦♀️
The switch of Mi Mi and Dunkley has really worked well today.
Petty with 10 turnovers…
Full Time: Firebirds 63-47
Full time: Firebirds 63-47 (MVP: Romelda Aiken)
After a tight first half, Firebirds stepped up a notch or two in the second half and Tbirds just couldn’t go with them. 36 turnovers for Tbirds was a real killer including 9 from skipper Hannah Petty. Aiken a deserved MVP.

1/4 time: Giants 14-9
A very messy first Q. Came alive a bit in the power play, but I don’t think too many will be counting that first 15 mins as a career highlight.
3/4 time: Giants 42/35
Nelson 28/34, Sinclair 5/7
Harten 19/23, Dwyer 21/26Magpies reduced the gap to 3 during that Q but 2 goals and a super shot to finish put the Giants’ lead back out to 7. Magpies just barely hanging on. Can they challenge in the last Q?
Full time: Giants 58-49
Nelson 37/44, Sinclair 9/12
Dwyer 31/38, Harten 24/29Giants always looked to have just too much for the Magpies who never gave up in Geva’s 200th game. Magpies would have dearly loved to have Kelsey Browne out there. Maddie Hay MVP.
Omg I’ve worked it out. It’s supposed to be Romelda Aiken with 208 elite games. Not Peace.
Amateur mistake.
Actually according to our Netball Guru: LOL he knows who he is:)
Romelda is still 8 away from her 200th:)Peace’s total actually got posted last season and a few of us questioned it then:
We came up with it must have included her Uganda National League games & a few UK SuperLeague ones!!!
Which then sent me on a mission to workout the UK SuperLeague years missing from 2002-2011. The reply was the scoresheets are filed away somewhere so safe in the EN system NO one can find them to verify.I was trying to workout GEVA’s actual total nearly another 86 UK games by my reckoning (with Team Bath & Surrey Storm) but also Jo Harten, Serena Guthrie, Jade Clark there were a load of English Roses whose totals have not been allocated. Then I tried asking for other overseas players like Mwai, Karla, Shamira:
But have not very far.Not forgetting the Kiwis, I can’t believe IVD isn’t amongst this 200 club?
Anyone whose is prepared to look back and help me out would be gratefully THANKED.
