I’ve never seen Ash Braz play this bad
Giants just getting a bit sloppy in this Q. It was almost like a training run for them and they seemed to be losing concentration. Score is 49-32
Giants need Harten in GA. Whether that’s with Dwyer or Letherbarrow at GS doesn’t really matter. Just getting too frenetic on transition. Lind and Browne really lifted at the end there.
Maggie Lind very impressive so far!
3/4 time: Giants 52-38
Giants have the game well and truly in hand but they really fell asleep badly in the second half of that quarter and scored just 3 goals while Magpies scored 9. Kelsey Browne a shining light for Magpies.
Lind has such a lovely touch on her pass! Absolute highlight to come out for the magpies today.
Full time: Giants 66-54
If we had bonus points, Magpies would have picked up two, having won the 3rd and 4th Qs. They were never really in the hunt for the win, but improved over the course of the match, whereas Giants got a bit lazy after getting a big lead. #SSNGiantsMagpies
Giants still yet to hit top gear but the potential is there. They’ve probably played the weakest teams in the competition so far so they’ll need to step up big time against the F’Birds next week.
Collingwood have their moments of brilliance but so many errors as well. Their best on court today were Lind and Newton, and they probably won’t even play next week. They really need a win next week.
Talk about turnovers! Well done Giants.
It still looks like the bottom teams have no idea how to play the supershot yet. Magpies chased well in the 2nd half, but shooting 1s isn’t going to cut it. 😂
Sinclair and Brazil were just awful. Themann was pretty good. Dwyer represents the Australian style of old. Reminds me of a young Vicki Wilson.

I much prefer Poolman/Brandley to Poolman/Manu’a. More athleticism and speed as I feel Poolman/Manu’a are too similar in style and speed. Giants are looking much better this season even without Austin.
Magpies were disappointing.
2 point shooting was terrible, between the 2 teams they missed the last 8 attempts.
I don’t think Manu’a can get back into starting 7 with the way Brandley is playing
Think she will now be an impact player at GD/WD if neededFever v Swifts
