Was that a held ball that Potgeiter got in the last few minutes? Seemed very quick
Ooh some stinky play from Sterling in those dying minutes
Absolutely! Her attitude drives me insane – would be difficult to play alongside or coach.
Well I (just) got my tip. And lots of my fantasy team scored highly with intercepts. Just dread to think of all the turnover points lost in the fantasy league!!!
Those 1 percenters really got the Thunderbirds today, what a shame. 2021 will be the last for Obst hopefully. Petty and McDonald can go, I’d rather have them sign Tayla Williams.
What a game!! Lots of drama, good quality for the most part. Nelson and Ward were standouts for me. Garrett and Horjus were great for the T’Birds, plus Wilson and McDonald had good impact. Potgieter’s hesitancy really cost them the game in the end. She’s a great player until she has to decide whether to shoot. Stirling’s self destruction destroyed whatever chance they had of saving the game in the last minutes. I hope T’Birds bring in Williams for Petty next year, but they’ll probably either dump McDonald or Williams will get a contract interstate.
2021 most improved surely has to go to Jodi-Ann Ward. Outstanding!!

I swear both sides didn’t really know how to finish that off. But it was Magpies who played with some composure at the end and they were in front when it counted. The NNP 217.5-213.5 is a good demonstration of how close it was.
Well deserved POTM to Jodi-Ann Ward. She would have been my pick. She’s had 3 great games to start the season and she picked up some crucial possession.
It’s amazing to think that Jamaica used to really lack defenders. Sterling, Ward, Dehaney, Wilson plus the talent they have back in Jamaica and England. If they can find a solution across that midcourt they’ll dominate.
