Can your initial post for each round show where the games are being televised ie 9 and/or the app. Thanks Ian.
I could do that, but it’s really not that hard to work out. The Ch9 games are ALWAYS the games which are on at 3pm Sat and 1pm Sun.
Still no Maddy Proud for Swifts and a big out for Vixens…
As revealed on Vixens Live tonight, unfortunately Emily Mannix will miss the two weeks of Indigenous Round with a fractured knuckle š¢
Rahni Samason will come into the team for our game tomorrow against the Firebirds š

Brandley has pulley out of the Perth game. Thatās a shame, Iām loving her work lately
Oh thanks Ian. I hadn’t looked for a pattern. That’s easy to remember.
Disappointing for Giants and Brandley but also completely understandable. Brandley is a massive reason for the Giants start to the season, much bigger out than Mannix for Vixens IMO.
Will be very interesting to see how things progress in Victoria in the next week and the impact that has on the season ahead.
If the netball live app lineups are correct Samason has the start at GS for Vixens with MJ in GA. I suppose for your first start itās best to run with her most natural position.
Everything else in both lines ups is per usual programming so itās probably correct.
Interesting choice to play Samason and Kumwenda that way around. It’s probably a good way to minimise the turnovers early on.
This is separate but Kumwenda playing more GA could be very good for Malawi. They’ve never really been able to fit Mvula and Kumwenda in the circle but after this season they might be able to work better together.
I find that very interesting, that a replacement player gets the start at GS. Yet this player replaced a GK š¤·āāļø
I donāt get why this player wasnāt already in the team as one of the shooters, to start with?
Sorry, makes no sense at all.
Would have been a tough call to hand Samason a contract. Iām a huge fan and have been for sometime. But until VNL this year (they have played 6 rounds and Samason played 5) Samason had not played since her ACL. Due to covid there was no netball in Victoria in 2020.
Hindsight is wonderful. Maybe they should have gone for Samason despite her not having played in two years?
Vixens have always kept Samason in their pathways and she has been training with them all year despite only just signing on as a TP. They probably didnāt want to overdo her physically. Why she wasnāt a TP from day one I question (as I did with Coffey and then they get signed up!).
The impact of covid on the young Victorian players coming through is underestimated.
The FBs warm up tops look like a combination of the Broncos indigenous shirts and old women in league tops. Hopefully they play like them today B-)
Quick note – this is a joke and Iām actually a long suffering Broncos fan š
