Harten forced off due to the blood rule and Letherbarrow comes on at GS.
Harten looks unhappy. Hope things are ok with her.
Giants should have left Letherbarrow on, she’s not the one who made 10 turnovers in three quarters. They could have taken her off after half the quarter.
Nice to see Wood at WA, she’s under-utilised there.
3/4 time; 40-40
Wood starts the fourth quarter at WA! Love to see her there even if it’s a bit of a shame to see Hunt go off.
On that note, Wood hasn’t really regained her form yet this season, I do wonder if a team change could be on the cards for her in a season or two’s time (if things don’t change).
Great to see Peace on and doing so well. So far 100%.
Good move to bring McDonell on and see if they can spark soemthing more in defence.
Proscovia has been great since she entered the game and the attack is flowing quite well.
My concern is that the super shot will Rob Lightning of the win, they’re just not going to take those shots while on the other end, Dwyaer and Harten won’t hesitate to take them for the win.
I think it would be good for Wood to change teams, but I don’t see it happening. She went back to QLD from the Swifts to be closer to home and I doubt she’d go to the Firebirds.
Koenen is so underrated at GA. She must be one of the fastest 190+ players ever.
Harten is more effective now that she’s moving less. She looks very down though.
If Giants win this with 2 point biffs, I’ll scream.
Don’t agree with some of the coaching decisions from Julie.
I would have put Manua on to combat Hunt when she was dominating. Likewise would have put Tilly on to have a go at Koenen when she was struggling. Poolman typically matches up on a holding shooter like Proscovia better. Suprised she’s not on court…

Great win for Lightning, NOT A SINGLE SUPERSHOT even attempted in comparison to Giants’ 6 supershots.
Would’ve screamed if Giants pulled off a win in the last 5, courtesy of super shots.

Flurry of 2 point misses from Harten, not a happy Jo at the moment. Wonder if that social media thing as got to her.
Big win for Lightning!!! 58-52. After winning their first 4 games, Giants have now lost the next 3.
That’s the best Proscovia has played in ages. She dominated. McDonell was not the right GK choice though. I was also so impressed with Hunt today, so calm and definite.
Giants don’t have enough attacking depth. Their only backup WA is Parmenter and she had one of the most dominant WD performances in the history of the competition. The refusal to ever take Harten off doesn’t help when she’s making 13 turnovers a game. Letherbarrow and Dwyer dominated together at ANL, they should have had a proper run today.
