            I think Price and Hay were average today too. Would have taken one of them off and swapped with Parmenter.

            Messy game from both teams, but nice to see lightning try something different in that last quarter. If lightning can develop that plan B combo then they may stand a chance in the finals this year. Otherwise a team like the Fever will eat them up.

              Great win from Lightning. And a couple of key performances from bench players; Binnian Hunt and Peace Proscovia.

              Second week in a row Giants are beaten by a team not scoring a single super shot.

                          Magpies up 23-19. They were down 8-3 in the first Q, so they’ve outscored Vixens 20-11 since then.

                            Hmmm maybe try something different in attack? I’m not watching the game but reading comments and stats, I’m getting the impression there needs to be a change in WA or GA. I hope Smith gets a crack at WD too, maybe if Eddy goes to GD since Weston has made 3 turnovers this quarter

                              Eddy is just a step slower this season, I think the Vixens need Smith. The ball just moves in to Nelson so fast at times. Weston having a much more active game than previously, good to see. Her passing though…

                              Samason and Kumwenda have been ok but everything is so telegraphed. So many passes are on but they take too long to throw it and it ends up as an intercept. I don’t think I’d make a change, maybe Stanton on at GA for the first half of the 3rd quarter so Samason can have a breather.

                                  Can we please have Smith at WD. Eddy is too slow and not in the contest. Weston was okay at GD out her back there. Smith’s attack is great and takes pressure off Weston’s shaky attack which Eddy does not.

                                  Honestly not sure what Smith needs to do to get the WD bib ahead of Eddy.
