hopefully this will go ahead, possibly Brisbane, Be good for Nat and Helen means they would not have to quarantine. Think for this we have to put our best team out there for at least one of the games. here is my choices for starting 7

    WD Cobden
    C Guthrie
    WA Haythornthwaite

Could change after watching performances against New Zealand. These players have all played/still play in Australia

Will these be on channel 9, or moved to Kayo/Fox already?

Bassett unavailable for CC after knee surgery

Hope this means she can regain some of her past form and play well in the SSN.

On the other hand, this could make it difficult for her to break back into the Diamonds 12.

If they get the chance to have a camp before the test matches I hope they invite another shooter given two are now injured. I know Dwyer was invited but I’d like to see someone like Glasgow (who I personally think is better at GS than GA) also invited, now is the time to get players exposed to the diamonds environment

The blurb with the surgery indicates both knees too.

Interesting regarding the coverage. Didn’t see anything to say 9 is doing the tests. But also didn’t really see anything to say they’re not.

In the past, Diamonds tests were on the anti-siphoning list, but I think that’s just World Cup and Comm Games now.

Think these games will be in Perth after comments made by Harten after winning Giants MVP and Ash Braz on Centre Court.

Think the next question will be when. England will have to travel from New Zealand and possibly Quarantine for 14 days so earliest could be around 15th October. What about Constellation Cup games as well, Guess Jo, Nat and Helen have bit of time off now

All Blacks are playing the Wallabies 8 days after arriving in Perth, and they flew out of a locked down Auckland

England have a much better chance of no quarantine coming from Christchurch. If the All Blacks were allowed then no reason why they should have issues.

I think it could also be the lack of flights between NZ and AUS at the moment that may cause the biggest headache

Air NZ will put a charter flight on. No big issue there.
