QTR 1
Dragons v Bath
9-11 Bath
Dragons want a win or to lose by less than 15. On this performance it could be very close. Bath making lots of mistakes and Dragons are playing with urgency
HALFTIME:
Dragons 18 Bath 17
Top of the table verse bottom of the table and the bottom lead the top.
Dragons look hungry and sharp. Creak replaced Borger in Q2 and Bath scored 5 goals in total. Bring on the second half.
1/2 time: Dragons 18-17
Bath scored a grand total of SIX goals in that Q against this Bath defence. Incredible. It’s scrappy and loose, but it sure is enthralling so far. I think we all expect Bath to still win this but what a gutsy display from Dragons so far.
QTR 3
25-33 Bath
Normal service resumed. More accuracy and less mistakes by Bath but Dragons are still playing well and putting up a fight.
Full time: Bath 51-34
2nd half was 34-16. Bath woke from from their first half slumber to run away with it but it was still an encouraging performance from Dragons today. POTM was Kim Borger. And she really was. You could see the difference she made to the team.
QTR 1
8-11 Sirens
Interesting game so far. Tall shooters at both ends and either are able to dominate. Leota returns for the Stars and Vinkhumbo limped from the court mid way through the quarter. She appeared to slip over. Still anyone’s game…
Stars v Sirens
1/4 time: Sirens 11-8
Leota back today for Stars. Sirens just edging it so far. Vinkhumbo had to go off injured. It didn’t really look too serious. Let’s hope it’s not anyway.
