Surrey Storm v Wasps match postponed https://www.netballsl.com/2021/06/12/surrey-storm-v-wasps-match-postponed/
Sirens 53 def Dragons 34
POTM Gia AbernethyWe’re about to see a BIG upset. Mavericks, the only team to beat bath this year, are about to do it again. And convincingly this time. Mavs have thoroughly outplayed Bath in this game.
Full time: Mavericks 46 def Bath 35
POTM Ine-Mari VenterWell deserved win. Bath totally outplayed. The thing about this result is that Bath may not finish top now. We all just assumed they’d be on top but now Lightning could take that spot. Meanwhile, this gives Mavericks a great chance at finals.
Oh dear, it’s been 30 degrees over here. The hottest day of the year so far.
I was going to say, I didn’t do any updates because i’ve been out all day breaking lockdown rules… but it doesn’t seem funny now
It’s a great shame that Team Bath could be coming a cropper as they approach the finishing line. They weren’t just beaten but well beaten & couldn’t find a way back against Mavericks. I now wouldn’t bet on them beating Lightening & retaining top spot. One wonders what has suddenly gone wrong?
More incredible results…
Pulse 42-40 Stars
Pulse 46-33 Mavericks
Lightning 46-60 ThunderThat Mavericks result effectively ended their chances based on what we now know about the Rhinos situation
