QTR 2
20 – 16 Sirens
Sirens pulled away, their ball speed is out pacing the Pulse.
QTR 3
29 – 20 Sirens
Sirens pushed the lead out to 10 before Pulse rolled the changes in their attacking end.
It stemmed the flow of goals but Sirens have a deserved lead. They have been the more consistent of the two and have made the best of any turnover ball.
Barrie looks settled in the GS spot.
FULLTIME
35 Sirens 30 Pulse
Sirens played the better game. They were patient with the ball and treasured their possession.
Barrie and Goodwin looked composed and untroubled. Pulse were good in the second half but not enough ball and often struggled to get the ball to their shooters

Tchine looks quite promising, reminds me a lot of Nelson. Pulse have a lot of talent but are just too erratic. Sirens look far more settled and are a well-coached side. Goodwin has been better at GA than I expected, developing that combination with Barrie will be great for Scotland going forward.

11-8 Wasps
.Candappa has spent most of the quarter on the deck. Dunn and Harris up against the most penalised defence in the league. Dunn has only been down once so far, but expecting more
QTR 2
26-17 Wasps
Strange incident 2 mins from the end. Dunn called time and left the court. Allison entered the game, she got in position only to be sent from the court by the umpire . Wasps were forced to play without a GS as the umpire refused to let Dunn back on the court until a goal was scored.
Wasps kept their cool and possession. They were able to feed Harris who scored, thus allowing Dunn to return.
(I need to watch that on replay as I have no idea what happened, neither did the commentary team)QTR 3
37 -27 Wasps
More evenly matched quarter. This time Dunn did manage to sub herself out of the game without any issues.
Harris is playing well for Wasps as is Huckle who is confusing the space around Bailey.
FULLTIME
Wasps 47 Storm 33
Good, clean performance by Wasps and a well deserved win. They took the opportunity to empty the bench.
MVP Christian
QTR 1
9-18 LIGHTNING
Cholhok dominant as expected
QTR 2
18 – 35 LIGHTNING
Things have gone south for Rhinos. Vicki O was benched halfway through, illness. Rhinos unable to disrupt the feed through to Cholhok.
As hard as it is for Rhinos to win ball, they are managing to do so. It’s the attack end for me that are just not firing at the moment – too many missed shots from right under the post and balls thrown out of court. Loughborough are naturally strong, but this is one of the most dis-jointed performances from Rhinos so far. (Although the extent to which that’s due to the increase in pressure from Lightning you can’t measure)
Vicky O under a blanket and not warming up after half time on court is not what you want to see either. It’s been such a tough ride for Rhinos but imagine how good they’ll be when everyone is back and fit
Rhinos aren’t playing that badly but lightning are playing like a team who have been together for a few seasons.
Magee on first her VNSL game against Ella Clarke. Now she gets a caution.
The gap is now 20 goals
