QTR 3
25-23 Sirens
Sirens benched Goodwin but they also managed to up their goal percentage. They had more shots on goal than Wasps in the first half but trailed at half time. This time they were able to sink them and they have the lead
FULLTIME:
Strathclyde Sirens 32 Wasps 32
OMG, this game was the reverse of the Mavs/Sirens game last week. It was Sirens to lose. 30 Seconds to go and Sirens score to lead by 2. Wasps take their centre and score quickly. Sirens take their centre, 1,2 lateral passes. Gia throws a weak ball, Wasps get a tip and move it to Dunn in the circle.
Can she sink a long bomb to draw the game ??? no… Rebound Nicholl!
No says the umpire Nicholl knocked the ball out of Harris’ hands and it’s a penalty. :unsure:Sirens were robbed. Yes it was a silly pass by Gia but that was not a penalty at the end. I need to watch it again but Nicholl had front position.
MVP Nicholl ( GD Sirens)
I feel really bad now, I tipped Sirens to lose by 18

FULLTIME
Team Bath 47 Strathclyde Sirens 36Bath top the league with this win and remain unbeaten.
QTR 1
10-9 Rhinos
End to end stuff Rhinos only nudging ahead after Rushton scored a penalty after the whistle. Still anyones game
Sirens stuck right with Bath until the last Q, then Bath got on top. POM – Serena Guthrie
QTR 2
22-18 Rhinos
Herdsman keeping Stars in the game but yet another game where the defence is dominating
QTR 3
32-28 Rhinos
The margin remains at 4. Stars had their chances but didn’t take them. Still all to play for in Q4
3/4 time: Rhinos 32-28
That quarter was dead level 10-10. Rhinos up by 4 but by no means safe. Stars looked like closing the gap before Oyesola grabbed a terrific intercept helping Rhinos restore the lead. You get the feeling there could be another twist yet.
Full time: Rhinos 42-38
AGAIN, that quarter was dead level 10-10. Makes it sound as if nothing changed. But Stars narrowed the gap on a couple of occasions to 2 goals. They just couldn’t get any closer. Well deserved player of the match to Rhinos GA Rhea Dixon
FULLTIME:
Leeds Rhinos 42 Severn Stars 38
Not a pretty game to watch. The defence on both sides worked hard to win ball. The Rhinos attacked treasured the ball and were able to move it to goal more regularly than Stars.
MVP Dixon
