Just like that, Cholhok has 5 goals in the first 90 secs after a bad start from Sirens. Currently 7-1 to Lightning
Lightning up 14-10 at 1/4 time. After a poor start, Sirens settled into their game
1/2 time: Lightning 25-23
It’s on! Sirens just won’t go away and they’ve pegged back the margin to just 2 goals. Seriously, Vinkhumbo is amazing. The difference she makes at the back is incredible.
3/4 time: Lightning 43-28
Well, there you go. It all went from bad to worse for Sirens in the third Q. All that hard work in keeping the margin to 2 goals at half time… out the window. Lightning totally dominant in every area, winning the Q 18-5!!!
Full time: Lightning 61-35
Not exactly sure what happened in that game except to state these facts…
48 goals scored in each half, exactly 2 a minute. In the first half, the breakdown was Lightning 25-23, but in the second half it was Lightning 36-12!!!!
Rhinos v Bath
Wallam starting!
1/4 time: 10-10
What a frantic first quarter! Seriously, both teams are playing at incredible speed and sometimes it’s not coming off because of that. Donnell Wallam has started well, despite not always getting good feeds. Even Clarke threw one away.
1/2 time Bath 25-20
Bath really threatened to run away with things in that Q, but Rhinos fought back. Some really interesting moments. A tremendous falling out of court goal from Wallam, and a goal from Borger right on half time. And Imogen Allison went down and we all worried!
Welcome back Donnell Wallam, welcome back.

3/4 time: Bath 39-33
Bath on top and seemingly in control, but Rhinos still hanging in there. Not completely out of it. It’s been a good quality game.
Full time: Bath 52-46
What a great game. Bath comes out on top, but Rhinos pushed them all of the way. Star of the show was probably Wallam on the losing side. She was incredible! But the other Aussie GS out there was as solid as ever for Bath. Allison was POTM.
QTR
9-12 Sirens
It’s a messy game, both teams making lots of errors and guilty of lobbing the ball in to their tall shooters from distance. T
HALFTIME:
Surrey Storm 16 Strathclyde Sirens 23
Sirens settled first and immediately built on their early lead. Storm on the other hand didn’t score until 3 mins into Q2. 8 unforced by Storm in enabled Sirens to stretch the margin.
