FULLTIME:
Surrey Storm 45 Strathclyde Sirens 33
Well deserved win for the Sirens. Storm were lacking their usual fighting spirit, could be something to do with not having a game for 3 weeks.
Karen Aitkinson, happy with the mental strength shown by her team. Mikki A, players need to be more accountable, way too many errors.POTM Vinkhumbo
Well, it was a shocker of a start for Pulse against Bath! 15-3 down at one stage, before recovering slightly. Bath lead 15-7 at 1/4 time.
QTR 1
15-7 Bath
Pulse young defenders are finding it hard to judge the speed of ball, but once they did they were able to disrupt. At the other end we have an SA attack against a Roses defence. The game is not totally 1-sided but I don’t see Pulse pulling back this lead.
HALFTIME:
Team Bath 23 London Pulse 15
Pulse have stopped the margin widening but weren’t able to reduce it either. 8 goals each in Q2
QTR 3
31-20 Bath
Championship Q for Bath as they stretch the lead out to 11.
FULLTIME:
Team Bath 37 London Pulse 27
The game was won and lost in Q1. Pulse made a number of changes throughout the team, they were able to stop the rot and get on level terms but couldn’t reduce the gap. Bath got the early lead and kept threating to pull away but they were unable to.
POTM Serena
QTR 1
8-15 Lightning
ALJ starting at GS but Lightning easily lobbing the ball into Mary
HALFTIME:
Celtic Dragons 12 Loughborough Lightning 32
Dragons have an attacking combo of ALJ/Clinton/Robinson. it has promise but they really need to work on every aspect of their play. No pre work, poor passing and no re offering. Lightning, not much to say other than Sam May and Beth Cobden spent the first half on the bench

QTR 3
19-56 Lightning
All Lightning, Dragaons made changes and they were able to put on 7 goals in that Q. However, they weren’t able to stop the score from blowing out. The introduction of May and Cobden were partly responsible for that.
FULLTIME
Celtic Dragons 23 Loughborough Lightning 76
Record score by Lightning who benched Mary towards the end of the game and moved Cobden to C. Dragons made lots of changes it will be interesting to see what combo Tania goes with next game
POTM Liverseidge
HALFTIME:
17-29 Thunder
Thunder need to address their slow start. This Q they came out all guns blazing and Storm had no reply. According to the commentary team, Thunder are also beating Storm across all stats, 0 for unforced errors and 91% shooting. Storm 4 unforced errors and 89% shooting.
Thunder may have 30 goals. There was an issue with Joyces last goal and it was disallowed but then reset by Cardwell and scored.
FULLTIME:
Surrey Storm 35 Manchester Thunder 52
Thunder ran out winners and managed to empty the bench. Storm took the opportunity to use their bench as well but they lack the stretch and depth of their opponents. Mikki A was proud of her team and what they put out today.
POTM Airey
