Just posted on this on the tipping thread
“Im tipping Thunder to beat Bath. I heard that TNev is training the defence and with Kerri back I think they’ll come out firing.EUB is back so it will be a real test her. Also I’m not totally convinced Guscoth is back to herself yet.”
Anyone agree?

FULLTIME
Stars 49 Storm 46
Stars lead for a majority of the game leading at the end of the 3rd Q by 2. Storm rallied in the 4th taking the lead twice before a dropped ball under the post by Bailey ended their charge.

@ netballnut, you and me against the rest :yahoo:
What a great game Stars v Storm was – for the unaffiliated watcher, a great show of attacking netball by Stars. You can definitely see Leota’s influence on their attacking line up.

dovey call time out and leaves the court injured
QTR 1
11 – 12 BATH
slow start by Bath. The momentum changed slowly once Dovey left the court.
Wow!!! Bath is just totally dominating this second quarter. Winning ball at the back and converting easily at the other end through Borger. Up 25-16. Good luck any team beating them in this form! Cardwell replaced by Neil after being shut out in this Qtr.
QTR 2
28 – 19 Bath
Dovey back on court for Thunder lifted the team but only for a few minutes. 7 unanswered goals by Bath forced Thunder into changes. 17yo Berri Neil took to the court and Joyce went to the bench.
Who was it that said they weren’t sure about Guscoth’s form since her injury??
Oh yeah it was ME!
Well she must have heard. She was instrumental in forcing Joyce from the court. Two tips from behind and a flying interception by her started the 7 goal run.
Just to clarify , Cardwell was subbed and replaced by Neil, then Joyce was replaced by Cardwell.
1/2 time: Bath 28-19
HUGE transformation after an even first 12 mins. For a time in that qtr, Thunder simply couldn’t add to their tally with every possession ended by a turnover caused by the relentless Bath defence. At the other end, Borger putting on a show.
