Again another team with solid connections. Going to be an amazing competition.

All the regular names signed. Wonder who will fill the Pulse and Magic spots.

Looks like Rore isn’t intending on returning to netball unless she is going to be a Training Partner.

What has happened to Jen O’Connell? She seemed to have such a bright future

Good team Steel have named… albeit a little underwhelming with recent movements. i was hoping for a fit Semple to fill that third shooting spot.
Disappointed to see Rore not playing next year, however I guess just look at Kayla Johnson, and Anna Harrison, so she may be back in the future.

The teams are all looking pretty even and exciting for next year. Hoping for an international defender at the Pulse and an international WA at the Magic.

@blondebomb I think after having such a blinder a few years ago and then getting demoted to sit on the bench behind Lenize the following year seemed to destroy her confidence, and then she did her ACL last year too, might just be taking a bit longer to rehab, I know Georgia managed a few games for the Blast this season, not sure if Jen did or not

So sad seeing Jen taking a back seat to Lenzie, sure Jen did her ACL. But we need to support home grown players first. Hope we see her back, to not even see her name in team is disheartening.

@nakiboy80 wonder what Madi Browne will be up to, I imagine Rhinos has lost it’s appeal with no Donelle or Dan?? that would be a dynamite signing for Magic

Madi Browne would be an incredible signing for the Magic. Possibly Pitman (has connections with Ekenasio from Firebirds and Pulse), or maybe Haythornthwaite (surplus to requirements at Swifts?)

Okay – so I confess, I looked at Steels facebook page. Someone asked about O’Connell and and answer from another group member was that she did want to return to ANZ but they thought (and I kind of agree) that because she only plays GS (clearly they didn’t know about her GK history) and George could play both positions she had missed out.

I highly doubt it’s going to be Pitman. She didn’t want to leave her husband and step-daughter to play in the SSN last year so I don’t think NZ would be an option. She has just started a career as a police officer in Adelaide as well. I could see Madi Browne though.

If Magic sign either Browne or Haythornthwaite, this will seal Magic with the strongest midcourt next season. Can’t wait to find who they sign. As for Pulse, they need a really experienced defender possibly an international. Sad Mason couldn’t get a permanent contract 😢

Madi Browne would be a great pickup for Magic. However would they really take on someone that has a history with injuries? It would be no different to Grace Kara.

With having one attacking specialist, you’d want them to be able to run out a whole season.
