            She just wants to play great netball, if that does or doesn’t involve the black dress. Time will tell?
            What does shock me is the mass exodus of good players from Pulse.

              I’d be all for Bailey playing WA (I actually think she would put Khiarna into some amazing space – and I’m glad she’s getting the chance to learn of another tall very mobile shooter), however that would leave no shooting back up – and even if you still counted Bailey as 3rd shooter, if she was to go there, there’d be no one who could just slot into WA.

              though in saying that I’m actually really hoping Clare is training up as a WA

                Oh I want Bailey playing GS! She is NZs version of Kumwenda. Don’t mind her covering the WA position, but I find it hard to think that she moved to Magic just to be another feeder? She was already doing that at Mystics.

                  Kersten and assumedly Winders will be spending the off-season learning WA.

                  And why I say them and not Bailey is, we don’t actually know how Ekenasio will pull up post birth. So Bailey absolutely needs to be a cert for that shooting circle for Round 1.

                  I’m scratching my head, why did they re-sign Mikaere? I know she’s from the zone and what not but she’ll be on that sideline getting a lot of splinters..

                        I saw on other sites, ppls had the positions and players all lined up. You know I don’t know enough, about the other players capabilities Maybe you ‘non negative nancys’ do, if you think about it long enough. PS I’ve never been fussed on Mikaere but who am I to throw stones :unsure: One thing I do know is Bayes will only put her hand up for that black dress when she knows and has shown, she’s good enough. Hence why she pulled the pin few months back on selection. Here’s hoping Meels has a easy delivery/recovery, am unsure how the communte will go thou, from Welly to Tauranga is a fair hike.

                          So much panic over the Magic for no reason!!! They can just push Kersten to WA, its not that hard if you think of it, you’re still feeding the shooters and I’m sure Kersten is not new to feeding. Its like Poi when she played WA for Magpies and excelled at it. And Mikaere is best herself when she plays GK. Don’t sleep on her yet, next season is the perfect environment with top tier players where she can come back to her best form.

                            I think people are panicking because of how this season went. They didn’t really have a solid, in form WA (Kara was injured and Kolose wasn’t up to scratch) and it did affect them. Personally I think that the balance of the team is completely off but only time will tell how they’ll perform.

                              I tend to agree that Magic lack WA cover and presumed they would announce a midcourt player, but I think Rore might do something good for the team culturally. She is extremely hard working, high fitness standards etc, which is something that the Magic needs. She has been a stalwart of Pulse and her dedication through the highs and lows there was quite special. I think Mes will also bring something similar to the team and that can only be a good thing for Magic, their TPs etc.
                              Does Edgecombe play WA/C too?
