The Pulse are annihilating the Stars here! 15-6 opening quarter.
I saw the last 3 mins of the first quarter.
Insane intercept from Gordon at the end there.
Tiana playing with flare and control. Seems to have the ball on a string.
You can have up to 12 players in NZ, but you can go with just 10 or 11 if you wish, or if that is all that’s available.
Tiana pulled for a couple of contacts in the circle and has stopped doing it. Jury has already disrupted so much ball into the Stars shooters.
I had the Stars with the win but the Pulse has really stepped it up at this stage. The whole court defence has been great.1/4 time: Pulse up 15-6 and seemingly in total control. the Pulse defence is killing it so far and stars are coming up with turnover after turnover.
The 2nd Q starts with a gain for Stars. Pulse leads 16-9.
Jury is a woman possessed.
Hope she continues yes this form in Birmingham.
Hume off. Malesala on.Pulse defense absolutely smothering.
This Pulse crowd is something else. Talk about getting into the game. Pulse 19-11 after 6 minutes 2nd Q.
Wilson misses a sitter which would have brought the deficit back to six. First miss of the game 25 mins in.
Another costly miss from Wilson. Dunn is 19/19.
Wilson with the shove on the defender as Malesala takes the penalty. Offensive contact.
More of a milk from Manua.
Not sure what to make of this game, not a great final to watch.
26-15 at halftime. Stars have more turnovers (17) than goals.
1/2 time: Pulse 26-15
Dunn 20/21
Metuarau 6/7Wilson 9/11
Malesala 4/5Pulse leads by 11. They have all the answers so far. Two incredible defenders continuing their form for the season, Elle Temu for Stars, and Kelly Jury for Pulse who is applying so much pressure.
