The lineups are what they are.

I see it as a real opportunity for several players to shine; Mes, Vui, Faulkner, Winders, Kersten, MSB, Fitzpatrick and anyone else in the SF squad.

when i try to log in to my (stupid) smart tv (from Australia), I go to the youtube channel, then get this message: Go to description chat for live stream link” superimposed over a screen which says Live

Any suggestions as to what to do next? I can see a chat link, but clicking on it does nothing!

I think Mes shot more goals in this first quarter than she did all of 2021 for the Mystics 😂

A very strong start from Magic against what is an understrength Mystics team due to Covid. Bailey Mes on song against her former team.

Magic – Brooke Leaver on at GS

Mystics are very disjointed as you would be with Covid intervening and two players returning from two seasons off.

Mystics also showing what they can do without Nweke, like most teams with a tall shooter they always have that heave and hope ball that it gets to the shooter… not the case today

In fairness, both teams are without some top line talent in today’s match. Magic made much the better start, but Mystics have now settled into the match. Magic up 24-15 in the 2nd quarter.

This has developed into a great goal for goal battle. Both defences working well and coming up with great gains. Mikaere having a good game for Magic and Fitzpatrick and Stythe combining well for Mystics. Magic 31-30

The lead is 4 as we head into the last Q. Mystics kept plugging away in that 3rd Q and narrowed the gap to just 1 on a couple of occasions before Magic pulled away again.

A good tussle by the two teams. Theres lots to like about the season already and with so many off season squad changes it should be great.
