can they afford to keep swapping coaches though? The team has such a heavy Silver Fern influence too, having a no specialty WA doesnt help them but i do think Edgecombe is doing a good job. They just cant seem to catch a break can they? I thought having Rore and Ekansio would be there key into some winning but that didnt really go to plan…
Even though im not a Pulse supporter seriously considering voting for July for the ANZ player of the year, from memory last year they let the public vote?
the last couple of weeks i shook my head and face palmed at why Wills had not benched her quicker, even the commentators commented her shooting stats were too low for this level, this weekend she seems to have had a rocket put up her with high 90s long may it continue…
I think she gets frustrated at Kelara NC she doesnt seem to listen to her feedback, Llyod takes it on board a bit more
apparently there’s a few big names that are working at breaking their contracts for next year due to the totally toxic nature/culture of the higher ups in the Magic, won’t take any suggestions/recommendations from anyone (yep, the same ones that keep appointing the coaches…)
really?? interesting! can you name names? guess it will come out… i had heard of toxic/bullying in the pulse but that was last year
I thought magic was under supervision of netball nz??
There is two ex pulse players at the magic this year?
Grace Nweke not in the captains run pics on Instagram today
Oh magic get another nweke less win tonight. They beat mystics in Rd 1 when grace didn’t play.
Mystics could probably afford to lose a couple of games, might boast the Magics self esteem lol
The concern would be how long is Grace down for? If the Mystics make the final theyll need her, their shooting bench isnt that strongI guess this is the problem when your whole game plan revolves around one player.
Im more interested in watching Magic shooters/Mystics defense.
@RMB – to be honest – I think the 3 they have that play C and/or WD are all better than her – Lokotui, Gordon, Pedersen, and at Magic would prefer to see Edgecombe in WD
but in saying all that, I really hope Magic can step up for the full 60 tonight (and no stupid coaching errors) it really should be a doozy with really good match ups right through the court
