      So if Mystics are down a middie, are they allowed to use one of the “fill-in” players?

        I’ve just seen ACD in their Mystics photo on Instagram. So maybe they are allowed to use them.
        She’ll be a great inclusion for the team. I am a fan of hers, and I thought she had a good game the last time she played.

          Um a big hell no to be allowed to bring in fill ins for finals, normal netball leagues don’t allow it, you have to qualify with x amount of games. Finals you should only be allowed to have the contracted players only. Not even NNL affiliated players.

            I seen an interview on SkySport with Steph Bond (NZ Players Accs). They did ask her that question, and she answered they hadn’t thought about that yet. She was grateful that they asked the question, cause it was something they hadn’t thought of yet.

            It looks like they’ve allowed it.

              How haven’t they thought about that? The whole year has been a shambles with what players are allowed where. :wacko:

              Surely they have rules stating about players being brought in for finals?

              What a joke if they do allow it.

              Even a local social comp is run better with draws and allowing player subs. smh

                I guess they have to allow some fill ins. Heres an example – a team has three shooters and they all go down with covid. It’s the night of the semis or the finals. So they default, or they are allowed to bring in players from NNL or back ups.
                For all we know both teams tonight might have players from outside the squad.
