        3/4 time: Pulse 48-46

        Nweke 40/43 (93%)
        Vui 3/5 (60%)

        Dunn 30/33 (91%)
        Metuarau 18/24 (75%)

Well, this is may be going right down to the wire. Great game. Mystics won that Q by 1, and narrowed the gap to just 2. Mystics have used their bench a lot more so far.

What a great quality game right from the start through to the last whistle. As an Aussie I absolutely love watching the Kiwi style of play!

Mystics snatch an incredible win 62-61. A run of 7 straight goals in the middle stages of the last Q saw them take the lead and then Nweke scored right at the death to take a win that didn’t seem likely when Pulse led by 6 early in the last Q. Great game. Worthy of a final.

After that heart-stopper, we now have Steel hosting Stars. Fisher back starting. No Harrison for Stars.

                GA Tui
                WA Saunders
                C Heffernan
                WD Savai’inaea
                GD Burley
                GK Selby-Rickit

                Stars:

 I picked stars for the win based on Fisher not ever quite getting it over Harrison last season – ahwell should be a good game none the less

Steel holding on to a two goal lead late in the 2nd Q of this game. Fisher with 26/26 so far!

                        1/2 time: Steel 34-28

                        Fisher 29/29 (100%)
                        Heffernan 1/1 (100%)

                        Wilson 19/22 (86%)
                        Hume 9/12 (75%)

Strong position for Steel. They’re dominating in defence (12 gains in just one half) and they’re converting at the other end through Fisher.

Steel with a commanding lead halfway through the last Q, up 63-52. Fisher fast approaching 50 goals.

There was a comment made in the Steel/Stars game that a Sky Sports commentator could be on a ANZ bench next week.
                              Any thoughts?
                              Tairi/Purvis?

It’s interesting to hear coaches talk about playing two positions…would’ve liked to see Gina Crampton in C today. Missing their top two C options.. I know you then have no WA but would’ve been nice to see her versatility

@thunder123 yes the ta moko on the umpire is a Maori cultural thing.
