Oceane Maihi is ‘back home’ according to her insta – I don’t know where home is.

Maihi’s originally from up north, but she just popped up on the Magics story which I am assuming is from today as Leana was also there, so maybe Mikaere also isn’t available?

Metuarau vs LdB, should be interesting as will Ekenasio vs Manu’a.

Fitness and team connections going to play a big part in this game.

@Baller – agree re the matchups above. Metuarau likes to push the ball towards the defenders hands to draw a penalty, she may not find it quite so easy but fitness is going to play a big part in this circle matchup.

I have to chuckle at Leana playing in the heritage round 😉

                    1/4 time: Pulse 14-12

                    Mes 7/9 (78%)
                    Ekenasio 5/5 (100%)

                    Dunn 12/13 (92%)
                    Metuarau 2/2 (100%)

Pulse got out to a lead of 5 goals before a late surge by Magic narrowed the gap.

                      1/2 time: Pulse 26-25

                      Mes 12/15 (80%)
                      Ekenasio 13/14 (93%)

                      Dunn 20/21 (95%)
                      Metuarau 6/7 (86%)

Great game developing. Good quality netball with a low number of errors. Georgie Edgecombe is having a strong game at WA for someone with more WD experience at this level.

Agreed @Ian great game of netball back and forth, LdB doesn’t even look like she hasn’t played top flight netball for a few years, would be a great full time player for Magic if that was a possibility.

Magic have hit the front in this third Q, up 33-31. By the way, no mops in NZ yet. Still using small towels!

@Ian in the past they have given the floor a full mop down at the breaks

Ahh okay, strange they don’t use them during play.

                              3/4 time: Pulse 36-35

                              Mes 17/21 (81%)
                              Ekenasio 18/21 (86%)

                              Dunn 28/30 (93%)
                              Metuarau 8/10 (80%)

Pulsating quarter, first one team on top, then the other, but we end it the way we started. Pulse up by 1 and no idea who’s going to come out on top.

Put Dunn in the Ferns please, there’s no way Maia Wilson’s shot would get near the hoop if she had to shoot a long ranger after the final whistle.

Dunn cool as a cucumber wins it for the Pulse.

                                  What. A. Game.

Pulse wins it 51-50 with a goal from Aliyah Dunn after time was up. And that was only after Bailey Mes equalised with one of the most amazing goals I’ve ever seen in netball!
