Points ladder so irrelevant right now. At least three match still on.
The Tactix coach said last evening that 7 players were currently impacted. The other three (attack end) were affected in the 2-3 weeks before the season commenced and she had had Covid two weeks ago.
Apparently the return to play agreed upon is around 14 days after the positive result, dependent on how badly affected the players were so I wonder if the Stars will play this coming weekend.
Have to wonder how they will catch up.
Feel for any player, 14 days isn’t enough time. Everyone reacts differently to this damn virus. Know for myself, 3 weeks after having covid, I still felt like a freight train had hit me, the absolute unrelenting tireness.
@mcleod i was wondering that too, even Fitzpatrick and Saunders have commented how hard it is coming back after covid and theres was from the Quad series. Covid hits everyone different ive known people to have no symptoms but just test positive due to routine RAT testing, however some its complete fatigue and just feeling blah
I dont know where they are going to fit in the rest of the rounds, Com games arent far away and not to mention if they arent feeling the bestI notice that the finals haven’t been scheduled yet. So perhaps they’re leaving space then. They wouldn’t want to delay things too much or it may hurt the NZ Comm Games team.
if there’s too many more, they may just drop it back to just a home & away, rather than playing each team 3 times
With CWGs in mind, it’s probably better that players deal with Covid now. The downside of it (besides from actually getting the virus), it will affect ANZ games.
Goodness me, now both Magic games are off as well, leaving just Pulse v Steel on Monday night!!!
Only saw today that you can watch the games on foxtel for people in Australia. Makes it much easier to watch then casting on to the tv lol
Pulse and Steel should still be a quality game for the only game we get this week.
Nate – which Foxtel channel are the NZ games on?
ANZP is an option under the netty tab on Kayo, but I could then only find one game from Round 1.
Thanks so much Nate. Monday’s game SET to RECORD.
I wonder what Foxtel will do when there’s a clash between ANZP and SSN. For example, next Sunday
ANZP Rd7 – Mystics v Stars (4pm local)
AEST: Sun 2pmSSN Rd6 – Firebirds v Magpies (2pm local)
AEST: Sun 2pmI think that happens a lot of Sundays.
