she specifically said she didn’t want to be a one trick pony, as long as she doesn’t go the other way and move round too much when the hold is definitely her biggest strength. and maybe if she is moving a bit more and getting the ball a little further out, she may start to have confidence to start putting up slightly longer shots (I mean if the likes of HUme can rebound her own longer shots over taller D then Grace should have a big advantage in that
Steel hit by absences due to Covid.

GA Tui
WA Saunders
C Heffernan
WD Hartley
GD Fifita
GK Selby-RickitTactix:
GS Bird
GA Selby-Rickit
WA Nathan
C Poi
WD Elley
GD Burger
GK Nawai-CaucauTactix with a 15-14 lead at 1/4 time. They now lead 17-16 just into the 2nd Q.
I was away from the game. Any reason why Fisher is off?
I replayed – no reason I know of, maybe Covid restricted minutes.
Ahh sorry, she was just taking a break after being tried at GA. Back to GS now.
1/2 time: Tactix 31-27
Fisher 16/16 (100%)
Tui 9/10 (90%)Bird 23/26 (88%)
Selby-Rickit 8/10 (80%)Tactix just gaining the upper hand in the second quarter. Kimiora Poi having a very strong game at centre. 12 assists, 2 gains, zero turnovers.
Shooters at both ends fail to convert great chances, not rewarding their teammates. But Tactix have slipped away to a 7 goal lead now. Can Steel respond? The home crowd is quiet.
Big defensive effort from Steel, but eventually Tactix finds an opening and scores to keep their 7-goal lead.
3/4 time: Tactix 49-40
Fisher 23/25 (92%)
Tui 11/13 (85%)Bird 39/42 (93%)
Selby-Rickit 10/14 (71%)Tactix has grown more confident as the game has gone on, winning each Q. Not a single change to their lineup so far. Steel, obviously hampered by Covid has made many.
Steel is fighting hard here, scoring the last 4 goals, but time is going to beat them. Tactix 58-50
Tactix wins it 63-52. A strong win, having won all four quarters today. Understandably, Steel struggled a bit with the disruption to their team.
Well that game was a foregone conclusion but Tactix shouldn’t be proud of that performance as they were playing a very under strength team and should have won by a lot more but still made stupid errors and still do not look like they play as a complete team.
Full time: Tactix 63-52
Fisher 33/36 (92%)
Tui 11/14 (79%)
G Heffernan 8/10 (80%)
TOTAL 52/60 (87%)Bird 49/53 (93%)
Selby-Rickit 14/20 (70%)
TOTAL 63/73 (86%)Assists: T.P Selby-Rickit 25
Gains: T.H.R Selby-Rickit 7MVP: Kelera Nawai-Caucau (Tactix)
Tactix have had covid as well, they had 7 players affected couple weeks ago, they way the commentators were harping on, it was like steel were the only team. Steel hadn’t played for about 18 days, they still had Fisher, Selby-Rickit, Saunders, tui, Heffernan x2 hardly under strength
