Teams:
Collingwood Magpies
Tasmania
Capital Darters
Queensland Sapphires
Victorian Fury
Giants Academy
Swifts Academy
West Coast Fever Reserves
Sunshine Coast Lightning
Southern ForceAre there selection rules for the teams? Just curious because Vic fury announced their squad (https://vic.netball.com.au/victorian-fury) and it includes Olivia Lewis, Hannah Mundy, Rahni Samason, Taylor Honey, and Sacha McDonald – all of whom have played in SSN or UK Superleague this year. It will be interesting to see if other players with less court time in other SSN teams compete
I’ve asked something similar before but never really had a good answer!
I would assume you’re not allowed to have played more than X number of quarters, but it seems strange if some of those players mentioned are involved.
I believe it’s X number of minutes
I don’t know if it’s been covered/mentioned on here, but apparently Nat Medhurst is playing for Fever reserves.
I haven’t seen any announcement of that.
There is a podcast floating around where Medhurst says she feels she has unfinished business around how her netball career ended and would like to play again. Did say she did not think it’s be at SSN level. There was no specific mention of Fever Reserves but definitely about her desire to play again.
Confirmation today that TB was right. Nat Medhurst will be in the Fever team for the ANC.
