2022 Australian Netball Championships (Aug)

Molly Watson from Force (also a Tbirds TP) has had some sort of injury too, likely ACL- Tyler Orr posted a picture of Watson in a hospital bed with her knee done up. Not looking good.

Congratulations to the Southern Force! They did their best in attempt to lose it in the last quarter!!

Being a South Australian, I believe we picked the best side available, but I didn’t think we’d be able to compete with a lot of the other teams. Well done to all involved.

Vic Fury has so many players with SSN experiences. Emma Ryde, Barkmeyer, Mundy, Honey, Lewis. Add in TP experience for Cransberg, Coffey, Lambden.

On the other hand, Austin and Orr with SSN experience, and then Blackman and Watson with TP experience.

Interesting to see Vic Fury continually roll the subs today. Honey imo has well and truly been overtaken for that midcourt spot by Mundy. A lot of turnovers across the comp for an experienced player like Honey.

I don’t know much about Charlie Bell, is she rated highly out there?

I was quite impressed with what I saw, especially a player of her height.

I don’t really understand why they did the classification crossovers the way they did. The Swifts should have played the Giants in the crossover and the Fever against Lightning. Made it all a bit unfair in the end.

Well done to SA! They’ve always been great at underage and ANL level. 2023 is looking good for them at SSN level too.
