I often wonder why Wilson isn’t played at GA for the Stars, Souness at C for pulse and Burger at WD as these seem like their stronger positions
Also how Faulkner got a ANZP position over Namanah seems illogical
@Netballfan1 it will certainly be interesting to see how YMD plays Souness and Gordon next year. I for one have wanted to see Gordon back at WA for a while.
It’s finals day

Great start for NZ A, up 8-4 early on.
11-11. Amosa Faitaua-Nanai is putting on a bit of a show. Very spectacular with some of his takes.
1/4 time: 13-13
Faitaua-Nanai 6/8 (75%)
Heffernan 7/7 (100%)Ekenasio 8/10 (80%)
Metuarau 5/5 (100%)Very entertaining first Q. Georgia Heffernan has been very impressive for the mixed team and Ekenasio looking good for NZ A.
1/2 time: NZ A 25-21
Georgia Heffernan and Amosa Faitaua-Nanai are having a great old time out there as a combo. This is what mixed netball brings. Very exciting. But Filda Vui and Ameliaranne Ekenasio also going well at the other end. Good game!
1/2 time: NZ A 25-21
Faitaua-Nanai 12/16 (75%)
Heffernan 9/9 (100%)Vui 10/12 (83%)
Ekenasio 10/13 (77%)What an entertaining game. NZ A looking more composed overall. Elle Temu went berserk in Q2 with 4 gains. Leana de Bruin had 3 of her own.
Much more fun game to watch, both teams are fairly matched without the giant shooter at the back is showing much more skill level and a bit of flare.
3/4 time: NZ A 34-30
Namana 7/9 (78%)
Patu 1/1 (100%)Vui 17/20 (85%)
Hume 1/2 (50%)Last Q coming up for these two teams. Can the Mixed team catch NZ A? Let’s see what they produce. It’s been an entertaining match so far.
NZ A holding a good lead halfway through the last Q. Kate Burley is on, meaning all 24 players have had a run.
NZ A 42-35
8 straight goals to NZ A before the Mixed team gets on the board towards the end, but it ended up a comprehensive victory to NZ A who claim third place. Full time: NZ A 48-36
