We’ve got Cath Cox and Sue Gaudion. They don’t actually know she’s on managed minutes, just made a logical guess.
Seems to be working on 7plus again.
Thanks for the update :good:
Ok, we’ve got LA. she’s giving a very interesting insight as to what she would do, if coaching the Diamonds. However, she keeps giving long explanations about the game like shes talking to a child
I hope we get the in-house commentary for the finals.
I’m curious as to what LA thinks the Diamonds should be doing. Personally I am glad to see Australia building, rather than already having everything their way. The coasted along in 2018.
Yep Diamonds definitely have some building to do over this tournament, even this match, the many little errors are costing them and they can’t afford that against the bigger sides
3/4 time: Aust 58-25
Full time 83-30 to Australia
Enjoying Austin at WA and Braz at C. Austin has a great connection with Koenen.
The Aus v Sco game was closer than the scoreline reflects. I thought the Scottish girls had some really good passages of play, just cancelled that out with some silly errors at times.
For Australia, I really liked Braz in C. She showed that she can feed the moving circle quite well.
Full time: AUS 83-30

TOTAL 30/38 (79%)ASSISTS: WATSON 20
GAINS: ARYANG 7Austin is excellent at WA, she sees opportunities with ball that others don’t and is lightning quick. I wish she would play the same way at GA – it almost seems like she’s more deferential at GA and not as creative because she’s focussed on making space for the GS above all.
Braz’s feeds were great, so were Austin’s. Something a little different too. Thought Moloney hesitated a bit to feed Koenan and then totally got in the vibe before the switch. Good to have a few connections tested at at this stage
Preferred Brazil in C to WD and Moloney in WD to C. Austin was very good in WA. Australia should look to try her there with Watson at C. Could be very important come finals if Hadley is injured as I can’t see Moloney’s attack standing up.
Wood definitely needs to be going to the post more. Same issue as yesterday.
So many options in defence.
