Monday 11pm Aus v SA channel 55.
Tuesday 1am Jamaica v Barbados CH59
Tuesday 7am ferns v Malawi CH 56I to be fair- the same team 4 years ago, managed to get within 6 goals of the eventual Gold medalists, going down 49-55 to England. On their day, the She-Cranes can be deadly.
Cardwell is so impressive, she’s a joy to watch. Her style is similar to Cat Tuivaiti, but she’s a lot more mobile and fitter.
ATM I think her and Harten are Englands strongest shooting combo. However Housby is clutch.Just a random observation, the England dresses are not a very flattering shape/cut. Harten’s in particular looks way too long.
Honestly all the dresses are fugly at this years games.
I don’t mind Australia’s dresses, at least there’s no repeat of ‘Ruce’ from the Quad Series 😂 and the Indigenous design at the bottom as well is a nice touch
Oh NZ VS Uganda is finally up on 7Plus if anybody who wants to see that hasn’t yet. I’m really interested in Uganda’s shooting circle so I’ll definitely be giving it a glimpse.
Who cares what the dresses look like, it’s not a fashion show.
The Aussie dress is the ugliest!! The design is meh.
The Malawian dress is a stock Gilbert dress, it would’ve been nice if they had an offical one.Cholhok needs a contract in the SSN!! She’s a star in the making, can see her as the next Fowler
The Australian uniform is great.
Yes it’s unfortunate about Malawi’s dresses but they just didn’t come in time. Stuff happens, especially in a crazy world like this. Anyway, the dresses don’t affect the players’ abilities and I’m sure everybody will play their best no matter what they’re wearing 🙂

RSA v Jamaica mini can be watched now
I’d love to post the link but I can’t.
Agree, Ian. Australian CWG uniforms are notoriously plain, but it’s nice to some character and culture this time.
New Zealand has struggled with the more unorthodox African style of play for a few years now. Malawi almost beat them in Glasgow and Sydney, then they won on the Gold Coast. I don’t think their defenders really know what to do against the longer balls and the aerial style of play. In that period in the beginning of the third quarter where Uganda were up 7-1, the defenders were just standing still looking a bit confused. They seem to come up better against more structured teams.
Cholhok is a much stronger option than Peace, it’s only a matter of time before we see her in SSN. I expect she’ll come in when we see a retirement from one of the existing dominant GSs (Fowler, Wallace etc.).
Overall I think Australia and Jamaica have looked the most impressive so far, narrowly followed by England. Beckford and Rochester-Dixon seem to have stepped up for Jamaica which could be a huge difference.
