          Australia:
          GS Koenen
          GA Bueta
          WA Watson
          C Brazill
          WD Aryang
          GD Bruce
          GK Klau

          Wales:
          GS Rowe
          GA Creak
          WA Dyke
          C Drane
          WD Jones
          GD Powell-Davies
          GK Shaw

I wouldn’t mind seeing Koenen and Bueta running the other way around for a quarter, partially to rest Bueta’s legs and also to see what Koenen can do out the front. Bueta has just been so dominant at GS. Hopefully we’ll see Watson at C a bit with Austin as well, but she should also be rested a bit today.

It’s an interesting one with Watson. One flaw in LA’s use of Watson was that she kept using her at C when her best position is WA. We saw that at Vixens too.

I’ll be keeping an eye on Braz’s turnovers tonight. If she can keep them to a minimum then I think she is the back up C.

When does Watson get a rest? Bueta also with big court time. I too would have had Koenen at GA.

I see Watson equally as good at either WA/C. LA had Maddi Robinson for WA, who was the best back then. So it made sense to use Watson at C.
Watson has won titles (Vixens) running at both C and WA.
I was always hoping to see a Watson/Proud combination, but that never happened 🤷‍♂️

This is a really competitive start from Wales, taking it right up to the Australians. Aus 15-9 after 11

Not sold on Brazill as the backup C. A few too many turnovers.

I’d rather Watson in C with either Wood or Austin at WA than Brazill.
Gaudion unsurprisingly loves Bruce at GD but for me she is far more damaging at GK. Yes Bruce has had a couple of tips but she isn’t shutting her player down.

Sloppier start from Australia, but I think Koenen/Bueta have been good. Happy to see Austin on now and Watson getting a rest!

Shooting accuracy spot on from both teams here. Aussies up by 11 after 3mins 2nd Q.

Australian defence forcing a lot of errors out of the Welsh team. But they’re hanging in there. Aus 26-15

Watson may be better at WA but she’s still a good C. I think she’s been paired with the wrong type of WAs recently at international level though. Considering Brazill and Moloney’s lacklustre performances I think they’ll want to have her play there for at least a quarter.

The Wales attacking end has been really impressive. They’ll be competitive here in the 5-8 bracket.
