Australia has lost drive since Price left the court and the defense is not as tight so the ball is going into the circle a lot easier for NZ exposing the circle defenders.

Diamonds were on top in the midcourt for the first half but NZ well on top now.

Good to see Dwyer get a chance as Diamonds have way too many easy turnovers in the circle. But Dwyer needs to take on more work load out of the circle.

Price back on at WD. Why not C where she was great and to link with and settle Dwyer?

Straight away a mistake to start the last Q, and now a missed shot. NZ threatening to run away with this up 41-34.

I am overseas at the moment and unable to watch.
            The statistics look woeful.
Did Australia take the best team? Are they there to play?
I hope the selectors are seriously learning from this…..

And another headshot! You are playing netball not rugby!

On the bright side, at least the commentators have figured out that this isn’t rugby and goal difference will be the decider.

I think the biggest takeaway from the last two matches for me is that Ferns made a massive mistake not taking Ekenasio to the Comm Games.

And I would love to see Garbin start in GS next game. Koenan was decent for the first half, but went quiet at times.

                      Ekenasio must be MVP.

I think Ekanasio being rested over the com games and given time to train was the best long term decision! Loved the game tonight, so proud of Toeava

Ekenasio is so good. Heffernan the new C and a tall option

If only we still had a post shooter like Bassett. But Australia have deliberately made a post shooter useless in the domestic competition. Self inflicted harm and very short sighted.

                                POTM: Grace Nweke

Ameliaranne Ekenasio has played five games against Australia as captain… W W W W W

Not the result they would have wanted, but terrific to see three debutants out there for Australia. Welcome to the Diamonds, Maddy Proud (about time!), Sophie Dwyer & Ruby Bakewell-Doran.

Noticed Watson being cranky about being man handled and cracked up given she’s got JLP and Bruce on her team.
