It’s always been the case @JR. Tournament Vs series I guess.
In a tournament it stops the top teams playing different players for the minor rounds against lesser teams and saving their best for the finals.
And CWG would probably have to do with governance of the village and playing environment.
There are generally no restrictions on series, players can come in and out.

Temu is on the bench, just saw her walk out
I suppose rules are a bit more flexible- NZ has different players for the different legs, which I suppose Weston would count as if it was pre-planned.OMG get rid of the anthem singer – I hope she wasn’t being paid.
Throwback for the NZ National Anthem singer, Emily Williams. Who remembers her from Aus Idol and Young Divas
Ah good Temu wasn’t on sky sports substitute list but Fitzpatrick was!
Good lord talk about the bitchy blonde biffo in the aussie defence end… Bruce has been quite clean in the first 2 games, bring Weston in and the dirty play is back. It really ruins it when they have to be so destructive, you have skill – use it
When the series is on the line, you do all you can!
Garbin should have started game 2
Bruce is playing well but someone needs to tell her to relax- she can’t be blocking access to a penalty in such unnecessary ways and drawing the eye of Gary Burgess of all people. Weston seems to be annoying Eke but RBD would read the play better IMO. Garbin killing it out there!
Heffernan has been solid as always and the NZ defenders need to tighten up- not necessarily slip to 1 on 1 but just keep the player in their sights and stay in the circle.- This reply was modified 7 months, 2 weeks ago by StatsNerd21.
Wow, Jo Weston went down in spectacular fashion. Thankfully, she’s okay, but that could have been serious.
The Diamonds are going strongly at this point, up by 10.
Toeava has the clear advantage over both Gordon and Poi.
Changes I’m hoping to see after HT:
GS Nweke
GA TPSR
WA Souness (or Houston as she keeps getting called 😂)
C Heffernan
WD Johnson
