You asked about why Wood thrives with anyone but Koenen and I’m explaining Koenen may be a factor in that.
My point was not a criticism of Koenen. Just an observation of why her and Wood don’t necessarily gel. Their styles don’t compliment each other was my point.
A strong target GS like Bueta and Garbin can still take the ball while being double teamed. I think Wood works best when there is some variety and Koenen is a little one dimensional – again not a criticism because it works for her but only when she plays with the right style of GA.
It all comes down to tonight – game four of the Constellation Cup ?

I wonder if Noel’s will spring any surprises tonight with her starting 7
Really feel for Proud and Dwyer.
It would have been good to see how Dwyer would play with Garbin being a holding GS similar to Jo Harten.
oh, glad I looked here, I thought it was on at 7.30pm AEST!
Phew.
Yep. That’s right. That’s how it’s always been.
All of the Aust games are at the same time… 7:30 AEDT, 6:30 AEST.
Are people still using my google netball calendar? Is it working okay for you?
It says Wednesday on this! It’s definitely Sunday, but this team’s exactly the same.
Thanks Ian…hadn’t noticed the venue, so that added to my confusion.
It’s all on the line tonight. Whoever wins the 4th test takes out the Constellation Cup for 2022!
