Jury’s out to silence Aussie crowd
It’s been a while since the Silver Ferns last played arch-rivals, Australia’s Diamonds, and this year’s star defender, Kelly Jury, has some unfinished business in the Constellation Cup, she tells Merryn Anderson.

I think the only GK Karin pairs well with is Jane.
I’d like to see Heffernan retain the starting WD role and then when Karin comes back she can slide there as needed.
I’ve never personally understood the fascination with Gordon at WD as I feel she gives away a lot of penalties, and her strength is her speed and flair which is best used in C or WA.
While I agree with many it will be hard to see Crampton make it back into the side, she is also the only one to have consistently been in the team over the past three years. Be interesting to see how she returns in the ANZP.
I’m not a Crampton fan, but she does have a steady head in the big games. All the other middies have a lot of speed and flair, which I love. However in those do-or-die moments, especially in big games, Crampton has the experience.
Silly question, but how much depth is too much depth?
Having too many options, can it cause more of a headache – hence struggle to find the right/strongest 7?Personally I thought that was DNT downfall at the CWGs. Tinkered with the lineup too much, they suffered in the semi vs Jamaica.
With all these players coming back into the fold, I hope she can figure out her starting 7 a lot quicker than she did at the CWGs.
Crampton will get her spot back. No one else can play the type of possession netball game she does. She has an incredibly low error rate for a player that handles the ball as much as she does.
Crampton, Souness, Heffernan will be the 3, plus one of either Gordon/MRB.

Is she cover for Bueta or one of the other shooters?
Cause it seems that theyre pumping Wallam up to take Bueta’s spot? (Yes i know Wallam is in for the England series but not the Con Cup so far)?
I assume she’s taking Bueta’s place. Which is a bit surprising. But perhaps there may be other changes now. Because as it stands now, Garbin is selected to play NZ AND Eng AND in the Fast 5! I doubt she’s going to play all 3.
I’d say they are looking to reduce the pressure on Wallam.
It’s also a chance for Garbin to prove herself. She has so much potential and Bueta’s pregnancy reinforces that anything can happen at any time and you need people to ready to slot in.
In saying that, I agree. Garbin probakt should drop out of the Fast5 now and Matisse should be given an opportunity.
Third time’s a charm for Peta Toeava, returning to the @SilverFernsNZ to play Australia's Diamonds this week, and wanting to show a new dimension to her ingenious game – controlling her flair. @northernmystics #constellationcup @diamondkirf https://t.co/9rrZpL3PNQ
