Trans-Tasman
Mixed Game 1 – still in progress
U23’s – Aus 58 – 45 NZ
U20’s – Aus 52 – 49 NZThe games can be seen here – http://www.facebook.com/NZMMNA – very basic videoing but if you are interested it’s better than not seeing anything.
Yes, there’s a whole Trans-Tasman series to be played out over the next few days.
Are there any team lists or live stats for games on FB?

NZ v AUS Men’s Game 1
NZ
GS Levi
GA Powell
WA Vercoe
C Grimmer
WD Tangira (C)
GD Wetere
GK RichAUS
GS Gillbard
GA Roberts
WA Richardson
C Forcadilla
WD Nexhip (C)
GD Lee-Tauroa
GK PunshonAustralia men lead at 1/4 time 17-12. The Australia shooting circle is pretty much having it their own way and a couple of unforced stray passes near 1/4 time aren’t helping NZ
1/4 time: Aus Men 17-12
NZ started strongly but once Aus got into the game, they had the better of most of the quarter. NZ’s attack of course centres around Levi, but the Aus defence did a good job of disrupting the feeds into him. At the other end, the load shared in the circle
1/2 time: Aus Men 32-22
Australia with the answers at the moment, winning both quarters by 5. Some great passages of play from them. But the kiwis aren’t out of it.
3/4 time: Aus Men 49-32
Australia wins the third quarter by 7 to extend their lead. Their defence has been just outstanding. NZ finding it more and more difficult to find Levi. Then the Aussies have been good enough to capitalise on the kiwi errors.
