            After an even start, Australia asserted some authority with a run of 9 straight goals. The Thorns are putting everything into it but just falling down in the execution.

              A horror start to the 2nd Q for England. They’re not giving up, pressuring Australia whenever they have the ball, but sadly, it’s falling down for them in attack. Aust 28-8

                Eng settling into the game more now. Nicholson is a standout. The shooting % of 64 hurting. Lee-Tauroa is cleaning up at GK and Forcadilla is playing well for Aus

                  Keeling 14/18 (78%)
                  Green 2/2 (100%)

                  Mass changes for Aus and they didn’t miss a beat with a dominant 21-6 Q. They did however commit several turnovers but Eng was just unable to capitalise on them.

                    As we watch Aus dominating, it’s important to remember that competitive men’s netball has been a thing in Aus for decades. By comparison, it’s in its infancy in Eng. It’s onward and upward from here and this experience can only be a good thing for the Thorns.

                    Poor Jamal Nicholson. Did a sterling job in defence. His reward was to go to the other end of the court and cop a bullet pass straight to the face. Aussies continue to stretch their lead.
