imagine that for Uganda, pretty much win and they’re in the final, or lose and they’re playing for the wooden spoon (commentators said it would be a case of who beat who but I would take their word with a grain of salt)
Sounds like it comes down to who they beat/got beaten by. What a strange format.
So true though, Kerryn. Not sure I trust the commentators.
South Africa into the grand final! Would’ve loved to see Uganda in there but still nice to have someone outside the big four make it.

New Zealand wins!
really wish they would stop going on about what a revelation Romelda is at GK – she’s played there a decent amount at Fast5 (and possibly in regular game aswell) – especially when both her and Jhaniele have been in the team at the same time
Gonna have to do something to pull in some of the bigger names for next year and the year after. Probably the timing of the con cup and England aussie series didn’t help. Even though NZ were favourites on paper butthey weren’t a great fast5 team. Aussie still played normal netball so killed all the fast5 vibe from their team. England got lucky with yesterday’s wins with the random 6 pointer at the end of both matches. South Africa have been hit and miss and tbh I didn’t know any of their players. Uganda the new comers but again stuck to their normal game style. Jamaica really havent done anything great.
Finally NZ playing like they want to win! Average attack at times (Metuarau in particular getting stuck behind the player, has she lost fitness/conditioning?) but much better on D overall
Jamaica sure nailed down that last-place finish, didn’t they? They seemed to get worse as the event went on. NZ now looking good for 3rd place against England.
