South Africa 2 wins
England 2 wins
New Zealand 1 win
Uganda 1 win
Jamaica 0 wins—
Aust Men 2 wins
NZ Men 0 wins
Eng Men 0 winsGlad im not the only one thinking that lol
A lot of safe plays. Go the 1s and 2s. It be interesting to see what the 3/6 pt attempts to other years. That last round other than NZ 8 attempts there was only 6 attempts that whole round. Aussie and Uganda went for none.
Maybe im just waiting for the next Tutaia to be bombing them whenever she felt like it hahaha
Anyone think Elle McDonald could make her way into the England squad?
Difficult to tell in this format but she seemed to play a good short/sharp game and that is something that is missing for England right now in both C and WA.
Wouldn’t be surprised at all.
Geez, Jamaica was in front 22-20, then I start watching and they fall in a heap so it’s Eng 26-22 at 3/4 time.
England wins. That makes it a bit harder for NZ.
Horjus would have to be one of my fave players. I hope T’Birds are competitive this year with Austin joining them.
They should be more than competitive. With Cardwell there, they really should make the finals for the first time since 2013.
Australia stuffing around a bit in this game. Uganda’s playing well. I sniff a possible upset.
Oh that’s right; Austin is already with them, it’s Cardwell joining in 2023.
Uganda wins!!! This really throws the tournament wide open.
If we had to go down, I’m happy it was to Uganda. They deserved a win, they’ve had some very close games and have performed well. Good to see them rewarded.
Love the celebrations! Uganda are such a fun team.
Strange there was no deliberate obstruction call on the C pass.
I’m quite concerned about NZs chances to be honest. The only thing that has impressed me so far is that Noel’s 100% made the right choices on who she took god the Ferns 😬
I feel for the umpires a little, the standard has been a bit inconsistent. You can really see they are in their head a lot trying to concentrate on the rule changes, they seem to miss a lot of little things.
I’ve also noticed the 3ft is often short or the second jump within 3 isn’t being called.
