Shocker of a start for NZ
RSA 9 – NZ 1 at the quarter time break.
Anyone else feel like Temu has been a bit below her normal standard of late?
Lots of 4s happening in that quarter…the GSs for SA and Uganda are great to watch.
I thought she played well for the most part yesterday, but it seems like a few have given up today… maybe just not cut out for fast 5? have seen a few of them in the past, where as others are made for it

I’m pleasantly surprised with Georgia Heffernan, I didn’t know she was such a reliable shot. Poi also seems to be playing well IMO.
Heffernan really came into her own playing for the mixed team in the Cadbury series – you have to wonder where she’d be at if she hadn’t done her ACL a few years ago – if she keeps going on the upwards trajectory like she is – could be an outside chance for the 4th shooting spot in the SF’s
SA leading NZ by 2 going into the last Q. If NZ loses they’re out of contention. Got a feeling they’ll just be able to scrape through.
Imagine a NZ team with:
TPSR
Souness
Toeava
Karaka
Jury
Poi
K Heffernan
EkanasioI am happy for a lot of the selected players that theyāve been given a chance but I definitely feel that most of them have ruled themselves out rather than into selection for the quad series
Ok you can see why Dunn isnāt a silver fern.
The only country that has brought pretty much their strongest team, is Uganda. Everyone else is basically a second-string lineup.
SOUTH AFRICA WINS! The kiwis are out of contention for the win and South Africa joins Australia and England on top!
Lack of game awareness there. Did not need to attempt the six pointer.
