      Yeah, I don’t think Vixens are going to give Stanton another opportunity if they are able to lure any of Austin, Dwyer, or Dwan over. I also would love to see Nyah Allen get some more court time this season but I’m not sure she will, there’s just so many young shooters and not enough spots. I’m interested to see what teams like the Thunderbirds and Magpies do to their rosters.

        Cannot see AUstin leaving Giants especially after her injury, More likely Dwyer m leaving to get starting spot. Feel for Stanton as feel her confidence went and being rotated did not help her. For me waiting to see what happens with the Swifts, what changes there. Everyone assumes Haythornthwaite will return home but who else will leave? Garbin if she gets starting spot someone else.

          I think the only big changes we see will be players moving to fill roles of those leaving AU. Must say, I am surprised that we haven’t had any other announcements of players going home, or any retirements? I know the CBA isn’t done but surely if they have made up their mind then there doesn’t need to be any discussion? Although, maybe they are waiting it out to see just how much they are offered. Everyone has a price I guess.

            Agree with you. if Players have decided to return home then why not just announce it on their social media page. can understand this not happening when there are still Finals to be played but now finished should be said.
            which imports will leave? haythornthwaite seems obvious and the fact she is getting married makes it more likely. Fowler leaving Fever? Depends on the new coach, read somewhere that the CBA has nearly been agreed so expect announcements shortly

              Why would any of them leave? None of them will get paid like they do in the SSN. The only reason I see them leaving is because they didn’t get offered a contract.

              I assume many will go home for the off season, international duties, rest, family etc… But I’m sure all of them will be back next year.

                professional contract vs VNSL no decision on a playing front would be SSN. Think the only reason you would turn down SSN is for personal reasons, real commitment to be away from your family for approx 8 months. The training is another level as well with Full time programme, this has benefited the English Roses so much.

                    Games will only be streamed on Foxtel and Kayo?! I’m a bit annoyed by this decision since both services require subscription.
                    Aside from that, great to see increases in salary for the players!

                      Good news at last now which club will announce first. Will it be the Swifts or Vixens? Will departures be announced first. Think Vixens shooting circle needs improving but who will it be? Swifts have won but how to improve team? When will Fever announce their new Coach? Will there be any shocks? Cannot wait

                            It was announced a while ago the broadcast was moving to Foxtel. If I remember correctly 2 of the 4 games will be accessible live via Kayo Freebies which doesn’t require a subscription. I could be mistaken though. I also think Diamonds games will be available free as well as the SSN finals series.

                              There is no mention of an import cap in the new CBA. Guessing it’s still unlimited imports.

                                I’m more curious to know what ‘average potential maximum salary of contracted players will increase from $75,167 to $91,500’ actually means. Why couldn’t they just say what the new maximum salary is. When they say average potential, is that referring to if everyone team signs a player to the maximum possible?
